Who Are KickFlip members?
KickFlip comprises seven members: Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon. Kyehoon is the oldest member of the whole family, and Donghyeon is the youngest (Maknae). The K-pop septet participated in the SBS reality show Loud and now will finally debut the new mini album, Flip It, Kick It, on January 20.
Kyehoon
Birthday: September 16th, 2004
Lee Gye-hun, better known by his stage name Kyehoon, started preparing for his pop musician career when he was 11 years old. He passed the audition for JYP Entertainment in 2015 and practiced alongside some of the most popular JYP artists, including Stray Kids, ITZY, and more. The 20-year-old trainee could be the all-rounder ace for KickFlip as he is passionate about performing, composing, rapping, and writing lyrics.
Amaru
Birthday: October 21st, 2005
Mitsuyuki Amaru started his K-pop career with popular agency YG Entertainment and eventually moved to JYP to participate in the show, Loud. The 19-year-old Japanese trainee has practiced alongside Treasure’s Haruto, Mashiho and Asahi.
Donghwa
Birthday: March 11th, 2006
Lee Dong-hwa, who is loved by fans by the stage name Donghwa, passed the JYP audition in 2018. The 18-year-old trainee has renewed his contract twice with JYP Entertainment and eventually appeared in Loud. Donghwa’s passion lies in songwriting, coming up with catchy lyrics, and freestyle dancing.
Juwang
Birthday: May 2, 2006
Jang Ju-wang is one of the youngest trainees of JYP Entertainment who went to the same art school as Donghwa, Hanlim Arts School. Before participating in the K-pop industry, Juwang studied at the Soul Tree Practical Music Academy. As a KickFlip member, fans are eager to see how Juwang will rise as a vocalist among the talented bunch of artists of the new team.
Minje
Birthday: May 12th, 2006
Minje has been training under JYP Entertainment since 2021. The 18-year-old K-pop trainee has gone to Hanlim Arts School, the same as Donghwa and Juwang. Even before making his official debut, the rookie has started a close-knit friendship with industry-famous stars, including BOYNEXTDOOR‘s Woonhak.
Keiju
Birthday: October 4th, 2006
Okamoto Keiju is another Japanese trainee of KickFlip who participated in the SBS show Loud. Keiju has appeared on multiple reality shows, including JTBC’s “Stage K” during the iKON episode. The 18-year-old rookie is a famous prankstar.
Donghyeon
Birthday: March 13th, 2007
Lee Donghyeon is the maknae (youngest member) of KickFlip. The 17-year-old trainee boasts a strong sports background, which could be the reason for his highly agile body movements. The K-pop rookie was a professional ice hockey player and played for Daegu Sky Eagles with the number 99.
The Much-anticipated Debut of KickFlip Stars
KickFlip members will officially debut with the mini-album Kick It, Flip It on January 20 at 6 p.m. KST and 5 a.m. ET. The album contains six tracks , including “See You Tomorrow,” “Like A Monster,” “Knock Knock”, “WARRIORS,” “Umm Great,” and “Mama Said.”
