Breaking Records Everywhere They Go
The K-pop group’s monumental tour follows the explosive success of their latest EP “Ate,” released in July 2024. The project sold an astonishing 1.65 million copies on its release day alone, becoming their fourth album to achieve this feat.
In their home country of South Korea, “Ate” quickly surpassed 3 million cumulative sales by early August and received two-million certification the following month.
But it’s perhaps in the United States where Stray Kids have made their most historic impact. “Ate” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making them the first musical group ever to top the chart with their first five consecutive charted albums—a feat previously accomplished only by solo artist DMX.
The EP moved 232,000 album-equivalent units in its first week—the biggest sales week by any Korean act in 2024 and the sixth-largest overall. With 218,000 pure copies sold, it became the second-largest sales week of the year, trailing only behind Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department.”
By October, “Ate” had been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, surpassing 500,000 units in the country.

A Global Force
The group’s international appeal extends well beyond North America. “Ate” topped album charts in France for two non-consecutive weeks and reigned at number one in Belgium’s Flanders and Wallonia regions. In Greece, it dominated the Top Albums Sales chart for seven consecutive weeks.
Industry analyst Lee Hyun-ji from Eugene Investment & Securities initially predicted the Dominate World Tour would attract 40,000 people per show. As ticket sales continue to soar, these stadium spectacles are poised to cement Stray Kids’ status as one of K-pop’s most electrifying live acts.
For fans across North America, the wait is nearly over to experience Stray Kids’ signature energy and chart-topping hits in person. If their record-breaking success is any indication, these shows will be among the most in-demand concert events of 2025.
