MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2024 has finally revealed the new dates and global airtime of the ceremony that was initially scheduled for December 31. The pre-recorded music festival will occur in January, featuring globally popular K-pop sensations, including Stray Kids, TXT, NCT 127, NCT Dream and more acts.

The 2024 edition of MBC Gayo Daejejeon will commence on January 29 and 30 at 5.30 p.m. KST. For global fans who have been looking forward to watching the exclusive music extravaganza, the international time schedule is as follows:
- North America: 3.30 AM Eastern | 12.30 AM Pacific | 2.30 AM Central
- Europe: 9.30 AM British Standard Time

Performers’ List of MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2024 Revealed
MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2024 will feature an impressive performers list with a mix of K-pop’s globally popular powerhouse performers and rising newcomers who have already made a mark. The music extravaganza teases a never-before showcase of Korean music with the theme ‘wannabe.’
Billboard history-making groups like Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) will join the show. “Super Shy” crooners NewJeans will flaunt their lively energy and bubbly persona on stage. SM Entertainment’s ever-expanding NCT unit will bring some of their favorite members of NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and the newly debuted NCT WISH – showing off the diverse range of music the team has created so far.
Followed by the top groups, ATEEZ will also attend the festival before starting their world tour in 2025. Girl groups like (G)I-DLE, IVE, and Aespa will be at the front and center of the fest, while ITZY, NMIXX, and STAYC promise to deliver their signature high-energy performances.
SHINee’s TAEMIN will grace the stage with his unmatched artistry, and emerging acts like BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, and FANTASY BOYS will showcase the future of K-pop.
Adding depth to the lineup are versatile performers like rapper Lee Youngji, veteran singer Young Tak, and bands like DAY6, ensuring a diverse musical experience that spans genres and generations.

Never Seen Before Special Stages of MBC Music Festival
Along with a star-studded lineup, MBC’s annual music festival will feature exclusive, never-seen-before collaborative stages that fans are excited to witness. ITZY’s Yuna, Aespa’s Karina, and Nmixs’s Sullyoon will perform as part of ‘Girl Group Dream Team.’ Popular tvN variety show “Earth Arcade” cast—IVE’s An Yu Jin, OH MY GIRL’s Mimi, Lee Eun Ji, and Lee Young Ji will get on a special stage to perform a one-of-a-kind show for their fans. Enhypen’s Niki, who considers SHINee Taemin as an inspiration, will collaborate with the latter at the MBC Gayo stage. NCT’s all-rounder Mark will join Lee Young Ji for a unique Fraktsiya stage.
