Stray Kids Secure Google’s ‘Breakout Search of 2024’ Title in K-pop Triumph

JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids just turned the digital landscape into their personal playground, and Google has officially crowned them the “Breakout Search” champions of 2024. What a year it has been for this electrifying octet. Their journey has been nothing short of a musical rollercoaster that left fans and critics alike absolutely breathless.

The “Backdoor” crooners kicked off the year with a jaw-dropping performance at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, turning charitable events into a full-blown concert experience. “God’s Menu,” “S-Class,” and “Topline” weren’t just songs – they were statements. Later, their comeback album, “Ate” dropped on July 19, and the internet practically combusted. The title track, “Chk Chk Boom,” wasn’t just a song – it was a global phenomenon that sent search engines into overdrive, garnering over 12 million views within 12 hours of its release on YouTube.

End of the Year Bash Brought to You by Stray Kids

Stray Kids is about to turn the final weeks of 2024 into an absolute explosion of music and excitement. The group will take over Indonesia Arena on December 2, marking their “Dominate” world tour hitting Indonesia, promising a night so epic it’ll have fans talking for years.

Just four days later, they’re storming back to South Korea for the most anticipated year-end music event, SBS Gayo Daejeon 2024. The K-pop octet has recently released its new MV, “Walkin on Water.” So fans speculate that the group will definitely perform the new song along with “Chk Chk Boom” at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon event.

While the upcoming days of December seem promising for fans, some are still not over the group’s memorable Billboard Music Awards wins, which took place days ago. The “Lose My Breath” crooners snagged Top Global K-Pop Artists and set fire on stage with killer performances of “Chk Chk Boom” and “JJAM.”
