Single’s Inferno season 4 star Dongho has two strong potential matches before the finale, either former K-pop trainee Hae-lin or model A-rin. While fans were speculating Dongho would choose A-rin as the duo seemed to match personality types, in a recent interview Dongho expressed his interest in people who are contrasting in each other.
Dongho was asked if he would choose someone who is the complete opposite of him or someone similar to his previous dating experiences. Before answering, Dongho turned to A-rin, who clapped her hands, looking at Hae-lin. Dongho proceeded to answer, saying he has always gravitated towards people who are similar to him or like someone he has dated before. But he also feels drawn towards the complete opposite of his personality type as well.

Fans Dub Dongho’s Answer as “Major Spoiler”
Dongho’s answer about his liking has been dubbed a major clue before the finale of Single’s Inferno 4. Fans believe Dongho might end up choosing Hae-lin over A-rin. Hence, the latter clapped to show her approval of the other two.
Speaking of how the trio’s body language gave it away, a fan theorized on Reddit: For me, it’s Arin and Haelin’s facial expressions. Why did Arin clap looking at Haelin and Haelin smiled at him? Another user added: “Haelin’s body language too, the cutesy shrugging of shoulders, like curtsying while remaining seated, in a “Thank you very much!” manner.” A third fan posted on X: “I lost all hope…I think it’s Dongho and Hae-lin endgame..but A-rin looks happy and cute.”
Other fans have discarded the theories saying Dongho was simply answering the question without taking any side. An X user shared: “I don’t think this is hinting anything, they reacted according to their personalities, I still think he’s leaning towards A-rin in the last episodes but I would have to see how the next paradise date goes and see if he changed his mind.”
