It ruins your makeup, makes you feel icky, and it can even leave you with sweat-stained clothes. None of that feels sexy. But you can’t let that stop you from having fun in the sun, right. Well, if you want sweat-free summers, here are a few tips that will sort you out.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font_size=”28px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Sweat-Free Summers: Cold Showers

Start your days with cold showers and this will help regulate your body temperature. It will help you feel cool and the cold water will also help shrink your pores and keep your skin hydrated. Using a citrus or minty shower gel will help further your coolness quotient and your body will stay sweat-free for longer.

Matte Moisturizers

Not moisturizing skin will actually cause your face to get even more oily and sweaty. This is because oil is produced by the skin in order to keep your skin hydrated. Then again, applying a thick moisturizer will feel heavy on the skin and lead to sweat.

Sunscreen Powders

Reapplying sunscreen is recommended after every two hours, but it can be quite a hassle to do so. Especially if your skin is showing signs of oiliness or sweat, you don’t really want to go in with a regular sunscreen over it as it can be a slimey grimey situation.

That’s why instead, sunscreen powder is a great idea. Powders in general mattify the skin and remove excess oils. So a sunscreen powder will offer that much needed SPF and it will also wick away sebum and sweat.

Facial Sprays

Refreshing facial sprays are a godsend. You can spritz it on clean skin, over sunscreen, over makeup, under makeup, to set your makeup, it works all ways. Infused with soothing skincare ingredients that often have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties as well, a facial spray will help cool down your skin and in turn, reduce sweat. Spritzing on a facial spray will also instantly make your skin look more fresh and revitalized.

Deodorants

Your armpits are bound to produce some sweat if the weather is hot, but a deodorant will keep the sweat under control and it will even prevent odour. Natural Deodorants that often come in the form of balms are great options too as they usually contain natural ingredients like arrowroot powder which help control sweat. A deodorant roll-on or a deodorant balm are ideal to combat sweat in the summers.

Skincare Wet Wipes

Always keep wet wipes on hand as they can serve as instant refreshers for your face and body. If you’re out and about and you suddenly feel like you have been sweating a lot and you need to feel fresh again, simply pull these babies out and wipe your skin to get sweat-free and clean.
